Jose Reyes Wins The National League Batting Title!

New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes has won the National League Batting Title. Reyes becomes the first Met in the history of the organization to win this title. You can read the full story here.

Reyes had an amazing year for the Amazin’s and it was an absolute joy to watch him play this year.

The fans were ticked off after he left the game so abruptly and rightly so. Jose is a lifetime Met and in what was most likely Jose’s last game as a Met they just wanted to see him play in a Met uniform a little while longer.

Can’t say as I blame them.

Jose is going to be asking for BIG money and a LENGTHY contract. I don’t see a problem with paying the guy BIG money to keep him but Jose plays hard and occasionally finds his way on the disabled list soI don’t see anyone offering Jose more then five years and 100 million.

Will the Mets be able to re-sign him?

Stay tuned!

Congratulations Jose and if this was your last season as a New York Met, and I truly hope that it isn’t, THANK YOU for the awesome memories!!
